What is this 'Reiki'?
Reiki is a system of energy healing that utilizes light energy and hands-on healing to facilitate drug-free, natural self-healing. Reiki is made up of two Japanese words: Rei (meaning departed spirit, soul, ghost, sacred, or divine,) and Ki (meaning gas, vapor, atmosphere, vital energy, power, consciousness, energy, force.) Thus Reiki is described as a sacred energy, and the energy itself can cause no harm, since it only works for the Highest Good of the recipient. The Reiki source is said to be a universal energy and is only accessible to those that have been 'attuned' to the energy. It is a gift that is passed hand to hand, from Master to student. |

 Reiki is generally practiced touch-free in the United States as practitioners need a massage therapy license to practice touch Reiki. We do not practice touch Reiki. Please be sure to wear loose fitting and comfortable clothing for your Reiki session to be sure you will be as comfortable as possible. |
